Dear Love,
Don’t you think the world is pretty? From shimmering blue oceans to refreshing green-lands, and the calming sky that watches over it all. Even the desert with the scalding hot sand and prickly green cacti, and the depths of seas with darkness that doesn’t see a day of light and remains hidden from the eyes on land.
That’s not all, Love. The world isn’t all that’s pretty.
The universe – holding too many secrets not even stars could count – not just meant for our eyes to see, but for our hearts to feel when our sight goes in vain.
We look up to see sparkles sprinkled on the blanket of midnight; we close our eyes and count from one to infinite – and feel the entire existence of everything that’s been made and done in our souls.
Love, the world is not just a sight to see, it’s an entity beyond imagination.
Just like you.
The prettiness from endless horizons of orbs to knowing the fact we exist alongside countless celestials out in the cosmos. It’s overwhelmingly beautiful – just like you.
You’re the embodiment of the beauty – but what eyes can see of you doesn’t do full justice on the loveliness of your heart.
No pair of glasses would be able to aid the showcase of how pretty your heart is. It’s going to be hard to convince the world that the map of your heart and the map of the sky hold the same value, but it’s a shot I’m willing to try. Because you’re the light I found in my space of darkness, serendipitous.
And, all of this may sound a bit far-fetched, but when I look into your eyes, I feel like I’m looking into a pool of glimmering beauty and my heart pounds with excitement – excitement that I’ve found all the secrets to the universe within you.
My life, that’s existed alongside with you while you outshine the brightest of stars with your elegance of living, is the luckier than a lottery winner – far, far luckier.
To see you breathe and make wonders with the captivating gleam in your eyes is all I could ever ask for.
So, thank you, Love, for giving my heart the experience of doing the same wonders people say love does in the world.
And to experience that with you?
It makes me understand how kind the universe really is to me.
Love,
Yours.
P.S. I know I call you Love, but the word doesn’t hold enough of the emotion for how much I feel it for you.
