Confusions Benefit Us, Runner Up, Wordism S3, Asadh

Confusion seems to be a very problematic thing. It engrosses a person into a frenzied state. I myself am confused all the time! I don’t know if it is a good thing or a bad thing; I am confused about that too! But the more that I think about it now, maybe it is not such a bad thing to be confused.

Confusion is also known as disorientation or delirium but I don’t think it is actually disorientation. Confusion doesn’t really disorient you, rather it makes you think more about it. It could be disorientation as you are not able to come to a conclusion but it does not mean disorientation from the entire subject matter.

The things we learn in life are either things we are taught from others’ experiences or things that we learn from our own experience. It is like a process of trial and error. When situations arise where we have to make decisions we do get confused which then pushes us to think more and help us choose and decide. Our decisions bring outcomes and these different outcomes from our choices are the lessons and the experiences we have learnt throughout history. So if you look at it in a way what we have become as an individual today or how we have evolved from the Stone Age to today was due to the choices we made which all came up because of the confusions we have had along with the process. Confusions do make us think more. When confusions come up it shows us different pros and cons of conclusions that are to come which affects the decision making process and these decisions later become conclusions. When I am to deal with a certain problem I do get confused on what decision to take but this makes me think more of the earlier times when I was in such situation and the choices I made and their outcomes which are now my experiences. These help me makes choices for my new problems.

So every time we worry about how confused we are about a thing, whether it is the simplest of the decisions to the very important ones, maybe those confusions are needed. In the bigger picture, it is what has brought us till this point in civilization itself.
